2. No Monitoring Obligation

Redwood does not have a general obligation to:

  • Monitor all third-party content; or

  • Proactively identify potential trademark or copyright issues on behalf of rights holders.

However, Redwood respects intellectual property rights and will review specific, properly documented complaints and may remove or restrict access to material at its discretion and in accordance with applicable law in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

3. Notice and Takedown Procedure (IP Complaints)

If you are a trademark or copyright owner (or an authorized representative) and believe that your rights have been infringed by material on this website, you may submit a written notice to Redwood including the information below.

Redwood will use commercially reasonable efforts to review your complaint and take appropriate action, which may include disabling or removing access to the material.

Your Notice Must Include:

  1. Type of Rights Allegedly Infringed
    Please specify whether your claim concerns Trademark, Copyright, or Other intellectual property rights.

  2. Identification of the Protected Work
    A description of the work or mark you believe is infringed, including where possible:

    • A copy of the protected work or registration certificate; and/or

    • The URL or reference to an authorized, legitimate version.

  3. Identification of the Allegedly Infringing Material

    • The URL(s), product page(s), screenshot(s), or other information that clearly identifies the material on Redwood’s website that you believe is infringing; and

    • A description of how that material infringes your rights.

  4. Proof of Rights / Registration (if available)

    • Registration numbers, jurisdictions, or other documents showing your ownership or authorization (e.g., trademark registration in Bahrain, GCC, or other jurisdictions; copyright registration).

  5. Your Contact Information

    • Full Name

    • Company (if applicable)

    • Address

    • Telephone Number

    • Email Address

  6. Good-Faith Statement
    A statement substantially in the following form:

    “I have a good-faith belief that the use of the material identified above is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the applicable law.”

  7. Authority & Accuracy Statement
    A statement substantially in the following form:

    “The information in this notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, I am the rights holder or am authorized to act on the rights holder’s behalf.”

  8. Signature
    A physical or electronic signature of the intellectual property owner or authorized representative.

5. Counter-Notice Procedure (If You Believe There Is No Infringement)

If your content or product listing has been removed or restricted by Redwood in response to an IP complaint and you believe this removal was due to a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice containing:

  1. Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.

  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it previously appeared.

  3. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you believe the removal or disabling of the material was a result of mistake or misidentification.

  4. A statement confirming that you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain for resolving any dispute that may arise in connection with this matter.

  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Redwood will review your counter-notice and may, at its sole discretion and where permissible under applicable law, reinstate or continue to restrict access to the material.

6. Repeat Infringer / Repeat Violator Policy

To protect intellectual property rights and maintain compliance with applicable laws in the Kingdom of Bahrain and GCC IP frameworks, Redwood reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to:

  • Restrict, suspend, or terminate access to users, suppliers, or partners who repeatedly infringe or are alleged to repeatedly infringe third-party intellectual property rights; and

  • Remove or refuse to list products, content, or materials that present ongoing or repeated IP risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law in the Kingdom of Bahrain:

  • Redwood shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to:

    • The use of third-party marks on this website;

    • Any allegation of confusion, association, or affiliation; or

    • Any action taken by Redwood in response to IP notices or counter-notices.

  • Redwood’s aggregate liability, if any, related to IP matters arising from this website shall be strictly limited to the minimum amount required under applicable law.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Trademarks & Intellectual Property Notice and any dispute arising out of or relating to it, or to the use of this website, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
