PVC (polyvinyl chloride) combination silent spring-loaded swing check and ball valves are made from a corrosion- and chemical-resistant plastic resin. Silent spring-loaded check valves prevent sharp increases in system pressure, also known as water hammer. These units have a ball valve connected to the outlet to stop and start media flow traveling through the valve for maintenance or if the swing check valve fails.
